The Practice
Kathy is an excellent injector with a long list of happy clientelle. She is an RN with over 10 years of experience with cosmetic injectables in both her Nantucket and Kennebunk offices. She flies around the country to learn the latest techniques from the best possible experts and classes. Introduced to Botox 30 years ago during her 20 year career as a nurse at Boston Children's Hospital, Kathy has no fear of these amazing and safe products. "We used it on children with neuromuscular disorders with no detrimental effects for many years, so it is an old safe drug to me, with magical results. I was shocked at how well it worked on wrinkles, headaches and hyperhydrosis (sweaty armpits) " Kathy's serene beautiful Kennebunk office is conveniently located on Route 1. She is a certified advanced injector and has a BS in Nursing and BA in Zoology from Ohio Wesleyan University and 2 Masters degrees in Nursing and Business from U. Mass Worcester/Clark University and Boston College. Her Nantucket office is at the Cottage Hospital in the office of surgeon, Timothy J. Lepore, MD FACS. Kathy has worked with Tim for 15 years and goes to Nantucket twice a month and summers. Kathy works with Dr. David Micca the Medical Director of the Wound Program at Maine Medical Center in Portland.
Philosophy on Botox and Fillers
No waiting rooms, no bumping into your neighbor and no rush. Kathy understands the demands of her patient's busy lives and accommodates all schedules by seeing patients at their convenience seven days a week. She has a passion for women feeling good about themselves and looking their best.
"My goal is for a very natural, not 'done' look. I don't do fish lips overinflated cheeks or frozen faces." With a pediatric background Kathy is very concious of pain and uses several methods to reduce pain including injectable and topical anesthetics ice and distraction."I have had all of these procedures myself so I am sensitive to discomfort and preventing it with the best methods available. Kathy offers free consultations and free Botox touch ups. She offers discounts for referrals and multiple products. I also love to learn and take as many courses as I can to be sure I'm using the latest and greatest techniques. Kathy has taken over a dozen classes is the past 3 years.
